Shellac is our standard finish.

We start with high quality shellac flakes and alcohol to create our own mix. Each bone receives a single coat of shellac to protect the wood and preserve the color. This leaves a smooth low luster.

After the shellac hardens the bones are buffed agian and finally polished with Howards "Feed and Wax Polish".

We also offer our bones raw wood for those that prefer to apply their own finish.
